Your shades - featuring Matter and Thread technology - can be added to multiple networks, administered by smart hubs or Thread border routers from different brands. The process for this, in general, is as follows:
Put the shade in pairing mode
Use the smart home systems mobile app (Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings etc.) to add the shade,
Visit the Shade devices settings page in the smart home systems mobile app
Tap on “Turn on Pairing Mode” (Apple and Google) to put the shade in a pairing mode AND create a numeric Matter code
For Alexa, the process is a bit different. Add “Other Assistants and Apps”
You can now use this new Matter pairing code to add the shade to another smart hubs network (enter the numeric code instead of scanning the QR code).
